Intro

Hello,

I'm not entirely sure if anyone will ever read this. It's more for me. But if you choose to read, thanks. I plan on writing about anything I want. If anyone finds anything I happen to say offensive, then you may want to consider hitting the back button. I'm a writer, or I used to be. Can you ever really stop being one? I guess not, but I'm trying to get back into it. I won some reading/writing awards back in the day. I enjoy writing, and even if no one else cares for it, that is quite all right. I read in a book that the more you write, the better you get. So that is the plan, plus I have a tendency to have way too many thoughts going on in my head all at once and don't want to bother the real life people.

So where to start? Hi, my name is Jamie. I've been a internetaholic for about 8 years now. How does that sound? No, but really. I'm Jamie, young mother and a U.S. Navy wife ( Hence, the title Popeye's Wife). I have 4 beautiful children who are the lights of my life. *Gasp!* 4 children. Yes, I do frequently go nuts on a regular basis, but I love being a mother and that is one thing I take no shame in bragging about being pretty good at. Noah is my oldest, then comes Abby, then the twins, Natalie and Reagan. ( They're fraternal girls in case you were wondering) I'm a "jackette" of trades. I'm a student, I took these last 2 semesters off for the babies. But I am a pre nursing student. . I can make jewelry, do crafts, I like to volunteer, write, read, ride horses, etc. I try to be a nice person, I'm extremely empathetic. But I do have the tendency to be overly sarcastic one minute, and extremely shy the next.

So, that's the basic jist of it. Now that wasn't so hard. I thought it was going to be like filling out a Myspace "About Me" . You never quite know what to say. Now I can get on to writing the things I want to write. Which, keep in mind, could be anything. Beware. lol
